Old Fort Jackson, the oldest standing brick fort in Georgia, is celebrating Veteran's Day.
10am until 4pm Old Fort Jackson will celebrate the veterans of our past with cannon firings, interactive, hands on, and family friendly programming. Active and retired military will receive free admission to the fort and the program and military dependents will receive the military discount for their admission. Old Fort Jackson was in service during the War of 1812 and the Civil War. It is operated by the Coastal Heritage Society, a non profit organization.

Donations made to the Veterans Council of Chatham county benefit everyone! We are now accepting donations for the new World War II monument that is to be installed on River Street. Remember, all donations made the the Veterans Council of Chatham County are tax deductible!
Bricks can be purchased for inclusion in the WWII Memorial to be located on River Street in downtown Savannah, GA.
